VIDEO: Echo Lake - Young Silence

Brighton's Dan Nixon, of XXJFG fame, and more locally, The Do club night extravaganzarama fests from a few years back has produced this visually intriguing techno savvy video for ex-Brighton band Echo Lake's 12" single Young Silence.  The record is released on No Pain in Pop on February 14th​

Here's the hook:  This video was shot on the Microsoft Kinect by Dom Jones and Dan on December 14th, captured and processed using custom-made applications developed in Cinder. The software was based on the work that Flight 404 did with his early Kinect libraries.

VIDEO: Creep - Intro

Creep is a two piece 'Rape Gaze' band with two female members - Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard (not the one from Telepathe) Together they are desecrating chart material to produce their eerie malevolent ambience. They have recorded tracks featuring Romy of The xx on vocals and have a release due out around now on Robin from 20 Jazz Funk Greats' label Tri Angle Records.
